Who can apply for Childcare Partnerships (CCP) courses?

CCP courses are open to Childcare providers who are required to be registered by Social Services i.e. those working within the early years sector in Out of School services, in Day Care, Playgroups, Crèches, as Childminders and as Home Approved Child Carers.

Do I have to pay to attend (CCP) courses?

Most CCP courses are fully funded by the CCP, however there may be occasions where participants are required to pay an examination fee to gain accreditation e.g. Food Safety Training.

How do I apply for courses?

First you need to register with us. This is very straight forward. Just go to new member registration and complete the details.

Once you have registered an email will be sent to your email address. This is to verify you are the owner of this address. click the verify link, this will bring you to our website where you can login.

When registered we just need a few additional details about you, once complete just click the apply button to apply for courses.

I can't register, I don't have an email address?

In order to apply for courses we encourage all applicants to register with us using an email address. If you do not yet have an email address, to create one is straight forward, there are many places where you can create an address, some of the popular email providers are below:

Google GMail

Microsoft Outlook

Yahoo! Mail

I don't have a work email address?

A work email address is not required, in fact we would encourage you to use your own private email address, therefore if you ever change your employer you will still have access to your account and you can see details of any previous courses you have attended.

If you are a manager, you should encourage your employees to create an account and apply for courses themselves. A facility is also available on the system for managers to view their staff and apply for courses on their behalf.

What are the benefits of registering?

After completing the inital registration process your 'portfolio' will be set up, this gives you the following benefits:

  • Simple application process - When your details are on the site you can apply for any courses quickly, with just two button clicks!
  • View your upcoming courses - any applications you have made will be listed in your portfolio, with the dates, times location and maps.
  • You can login at any time and view the status of your application.
  • As we update the system, certificates and evaluation information will also be available.
  • Even if you change employers you can still login to the site and view any previous courses you have attended.

As a manager

  • You can view all your staff and all courses they have applied for in the last 36 months
  • Apply for courses on behalf of your staff

I have forgotten my password?

Click on the 'login' link on the top left of the screen. Under ther login box you will see a 'forgotten password' link, enter your email address here and we'll send you an email to reset your password.

What happens after I apply for a course?

Following your application you will receive an email thanking you for your application, this does not mean you have a place on the course.

Your application will be checked by a member of our team to ensure you have met any requirements, you may notice the application status in your portfolio is updated from 'New' to 'Applied'.

Prior to the course start date, if your application for the course is successful we will send you a confirmation email, if not, you will receive an email to say your place has been declined or you may be offered a place on another date.

At any time you can login to the website and view the status of your application.

Achieving a place on a course brings with it particular requirements for practitioners and providers such as full completion of all parts of the course, punctuality and participation in evaluation.

I can no longer attend a course I have booked?

Please contact a member of our training team as soon as possible.

As we are managing a limited resource, the Childcare Partnerships may withdraw future access to learning opportunities where a provider or practitioner fails to provide reasonable notice of non-attendance.


Can someone apply for a course on my behalf?

Yes, when you complete your provider details you will be asked for an email address for a Manager/Administrator. If this person has an account with use under the email address you specified they will be able to apply on your behalf.

What information can my manager/administrator see about me?

If you have added your manager/administrators email. Your manager will be able to see the following information about you.:

  • Your Name
  • Your email address
  • All courses you have applied for in the last 36 months
  • Application Status - If you where confirmed, declined etc
  • Attendance Status - If you attended this course or not

My manager/administrator cant apply for courses for me?

In order for your manager/administrator to apply for a course you must ensure:

  • to have registered with us and verifed you account
  • to complete your personal profile and provider details
  • you have added the correct email address for your manager/administrator in the provider details section
  • you do not have a pending application for the couse already. Only one future application per course is permitted.
