Making Maths Matter
Course Objectives:
- Understanding how both indoor and outdoor play can support the development of mathematics e.g. counting, understanding using numbers, adding and subtraction, shape, space and measurement
- Gaining practical ideas which enable you to improve, embed and enhance your current maths provision
- Reflecting, as practitioners, on how to ensure the maths provision in your setting engages all children, supports their development and challenges their thinking
- How to provide support and encourage children in the home environment
