Upon completion, the practitioner will have gained an understanding of physical disabilities.

b) Understanding the types of physical disabilities and how they affect children’s development
c) Understanding how to provide support for children with a physical disability in the Early Years setting including adapting the environment to support inclusion
d) Understanding the importance of having a child-centred approach
e) Understanding the key concepts of partnership working including other professionals, parents and carers
