Upon completion, the participant will understand and have the skills to recruit staff in compliance with Northern Ireland’s employment and equality legislation and when appointed, to induct into the workplace.
Course Learning Outcomes:
) Developing and reviewing internal recruitment and selection processes
b) Understanding relevant Northern Ireland legislation, regulatory professional codes and agreed ways of working
c) Preparing and reviewing job descriptions and person specifications
d) Working with others to establish methods and criteria to select candidates
e) Screening applications
f) Developing interview skills
g) Communicating outcomes in line with internal policy and procedure
h) Identifying support systems and when to seek specialist advice and expertise
i) Evaluating the recruitment and selection methods and criteria
j) Recommending changes for improvem
