This session will provide an in-depth overview of how science can be effective within the early years and will have a focus on the child’s development and how it can affect the children holistically. There will be a focus on what science looks like during play and how to create science provocations and learning environments that spike curiosity and sensory discoveries that are inclusive for all children. There is a discussion on the role of the adult when exploring scientific concepts and sensory experiences and the positive outcomes for the children that engage with scientific activities and concepts at an early age.
Please see a list of available dates below, we encourage providers and practitioners to apply for learning opportunities at locations most convenient for either work or home regardless of the location of the early years setting.
Some mandatory training has attached criteria and we would encourage all applicants to read our course details before applying.
