What is the Togetherness (Formerly Solihull Approach) Train the Trainer?

Togetherness Train the Trainer is all about supporting emotional health and wellbeing with a focus on relationships and nurturing connected, sensitive and responsive interactions.

Togetherness Train the Trainer is designed to equip practitioners to cascade, as part of their work, any 2 Day Foundation training to other local practitioners.

Course content

The Train the Trainer, equips you to train other local practitioners in any of the 2 Day Foundation training, providing you have the correct manual for the training you wish to deliver, further criteria will also be required for those wishing to apply:

• You must have the Trainers’ Manual to deliver the 2 Day Foundation training
• You must have attended a 2 Day Foundation Course with the Childcare Partnership 
• You must have attended at least 3 practice sessions following your 2 day training
• You must be in a Manager/Leader position to attend this training 
• You must be willing to cascade this training to staff members in your team who have not already had the training, or who are new to the setting
