This course aims to raise awareness of the reasons it may be necessary for children and young people to come into care, the professional network around them and the legislation and policies surrounding their care.
In addition, the course will help early years practitioners understand how they can support looked after children or young people within their home-based home-based or group-based setting and contribute to their overall development and care plan.
Priority will be given to those currently working with a child or young person in care.
Please see a list of available dates below, we encourage providers and practitioners to apply for learning opportunities at locations most convenient for either work or home regardless of the location of the early years setting.
Some mandatory training has attached criteria and we would encourage all applicants to read our course details before applying.
