This is not an accredited course but rather a “stepping stone” for those practitioners who are thinking about moving into a management role or perhaps COVID-19 has impacted their role, where they have had to take on some Management Duties.
The 10 week programme will focus on 4 of the mandatory units from the Level 5 QCF Qualification, that are viewed as the core of the qualification– but concentrate on the underpinning knowledge and the skills needed with signposting as to what needs to be done in the workplace to get “Level 5 ready”
Each participant will need to be supported by a “workplace mentor” ideally the manager/group leader who can support the learner in their journey.
