The 10 week programme will focus on 4 of the mandatory units from the Level 5 QCF Qualification, that are viewed as the core of the qualification– but concentrate on the underpinning knowledge and the skills needed with signposting as to what needs to be done in the workplace to get “Level 5 ready”

Each participant will need to be supported by a “workplace mentor” ideally the manager/group leader who can support the learner in their journey.

Units:

  • Lead and manage a team within a health and social care or children and young people’s settings
