  • Finance; Cash Flow, Budgets, Sustainability
  • ‘Customer service’: Working in partnership with parents, supporting parents with childcare costs, managing complaints, collaborating with other key stakeholders
  • Compliance; including Policies and Procedures, Minimum Standards, Playwork Principles
    • Preparing for Inspection, Working in partnership with Early Years Team (HSCT)

Programme Objectives

  • To provide succession planning for settings which have experienced recruitment and retention issues of managerial staff
  • To provide training, upskilling and mentoring support to individuals who have achieved a Level 3 qualification relevant to the Childcare sector and are currently undertaking a Deputy Manager/Manger role in their setting.
