Global Development Delay
Course Duration
2 hours (1 x 2 hour session)
Target Audience
This course is for all early years practitioners.
Purpose of the Course
Upon completion, the practitioner will have explored the definitions of Global Development Delay, the impact this can have on learning and development and how early years practitioners can support children.
Course/Webinar Learning Outcomes will Include
- Definition and terminology of Global Development Delay (GDD)
- Signs of GDD
- How GDD will impact on a child's learning and development
- Communication, play and sensory strategies to support a child with GDD
- Observations and planning for children with GDD
- Referral pathways and access to services
