Aim:
The Solihull Approach is an early intervention model that focuses on the importance of infant brain development and its relevance to infant mental health and child development.
The approach provides practitioners with
Target Audience: Managers & Leader/Deputy Leader of Day-care 0-3 & Playgroup settings with direct involvement in the care and supervision of children and Childminders.
Settings that have not previously attended the training will be given priority.
N.B. There will be four short mandatory follow up practice sessions (approx. 2 hours each) to help consolidate learning. To gain a certificate you must attend the practice sessions.
Please see a list of available dates below, we encourage providers and practitioners to apply for learning opportunities at locations most convenient for either work or home regardless of the location of the early years setting.
Some mandatory training has attached criteria and we would encourage all applicants to read our course details before applying.
