Childcare Partnership Training
Forest School Workshop
This is a practical workshop that will be delivered outdoors whatever the weather!
If you are interested in attending, please ensure that you were appropriate outdoor clothing and waterproof shoes.
Learning objectives:
- Participants will gain a greater understanding of forest school including history, benefits and how it works in Northern Ireland
- Participants will be shown a number of activities that can be adapted for any outside space, this may include whittling or arts and craft using natural materials
- A demonstration will be provided on fire lighting in a play setting as well as advice on how to manage a fire in a play setting and benefits of doing so.
